Power On, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a Design Engineer who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
As the Design Engineer your key responsibilities are
Produce detailed design drawings and calculations based on industry standards and customer requirements.
Utilise creative thinking and engineering knowledge to produce workable solutions for design, resource and client issues.
Ensure ‘Safety through design’ through business process, HSEQ procedures and supporting and maintaining project health and safety plans and risk reviews.
Liaise with colleagues across the business, and third parties to ensure effective delivery of tasks.
Represent Power On to customers, and other individuals from other companies and organisations, with support from Senior Design Engineers.
About you
Degree in engineering subject, technical subject equivalent (e.g. BTEC) or industry experience.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisation skills.
Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent.
Ability to use CAD packages
Knowledge of engineering principles.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
